Game of the Scene Improv Workshop with Brandon Gardner June 30 and July 2 7:00-9:30 $100 This two-session workshop will introduce the concept of The Game of The Scene as taught at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Learn how to discover a central comedic idea in your scenes and how to heighten and explore it. Instructor Bio: Brandon Gardner has taught and performed at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade (UCB) Theaters in New York and Los Angeles since 2007. The UCB Training Center is the premier improv comedy school in the world and many of Brandon’s students have gone on to be writers and actors in movies and TV shows including Saturday Night Live. In addition to his classes at UCB, Brandon has taught improv workshops for companies like Google and NBC as well as at Universities including USC, NYU and Columbia. In 2024 Brandon co-created the half-hour comedy IN THE KNOW for Peacock.
