Intro to Improv Workshop with Brandon Gardner June 29th 7:00-9:30 $50 This workshop is an introduction to improvisation - acting without a script. Through exercises and games you’ll learn the fundamental improv skills of listening and agreement which are the first steps towards creating fully improvised scenes. Improv workshops are great for actors and anyone looking to get better at communication and collaboration. Instructor Bio: Brandon Gardner has taught and performed at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade (UCB) Theaters in New York and Los Angeles since 2007. The UCB Training Center is the premier improv comedy school in the world and many of Brandon’s students have gone on to be writers and actors in movies and TV shows including Saturday Night Live. In addition to his classes at UCB, Brandon has taught improv workshops for companies like Google and NBC as well as at Universities including USC, NYU and Columbia. In 2024 Brandon co-created the half-hour comedy IN THE KNOW for Peacock.
