This two day workshop will combine the precision of pen-and-ink with the expressive beauty of watercolor! Workshop is Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 - 3:30 pm In the first phase, we’ll trace our images using a lightbox then practice line weight and contouring as we ink over our sketches using waterproof fine-line pens. Next, we’ll dive into the fundamentals of watercolor, exploring color mixing, wet-on-dry techniques, and translucent layering. Finally, you’ll bring your crisp linework to life with rich wash coats, leaving with a finished, frame-ready architectural painting. For this comprehensive two day workshop, students will need to bring an image of an architectural design such as a home, landmark, etc. of their choosing.
