Frederick County Parks and Recreation is calling on fun-loving adventurers - both solo explorers and fun-loving groups - to join an exclusive expedition to uncover clues, undeniable evidence, and perhaps—just perhaps—be the ones to finally solve this legendary mystery. Each discovery earns you raffle tickets for a chance to win amazing prizes from local businesses.

Whether you're a devoted believer or a curious skeptic, this is one adventure you won’t want to miss! So lace up your boots, sharpen your senses, and prepare for a legendary park adventure. Who knows what—or who—you’ll find out there

Family Expedition: This 1-mile loop features moderate terrain, with mostly even footing and slight elevation changes. This event is open to all ages and involves walking, so we encourage families to participate at a pace that feels comfortable for them within the allotted time. Trail map provided; map does not include locations of clues. Event held rain or shine. Additional information to follow in email the week of the event. This session will be held during daylight hours....perfect for those who feel more comfortable participating before it gets dark!
