This workshop is geared specifically to women seeking to explore a variety of art media and techniques as a powerful mode of self-exploration and expression. You will be encouraged to work towards a personal practice of art journaling as we explore many paths to inspiration using guided imagery, poems, quotes, photos, watercolors, markers, colored pencils, cut paper, and collage. Your creations will support a visual conversation among women. This class meets on Tuesdays for 6 sessions. No class 4/21/26. Materials Fee: $20, payable to instructor by cash or check. Artists - Art Therapist - Educator Jiff Cornwell has a degree in art therapy. The majority of her work experience incorporates both formal and experience-based art education from teaching high school art to the Psychology of Art Media at university and Studio Development and Support for Crafts schools. She has also coordinated international arts travel programs and artisanal product development with Central American indigenous communities. These experiences have challenged her to expand her own creative skills and has taught her how to best assist individuals to explore a limitless variety of art media and techniques on their journey of artistic expression and personal growth.
