Create one of a kind painted or decoupaged oyster shell ornaments. These will make beautiful, locally inspired holiday gifts or decorations for your home. All supplies are included, including shells with drilled hole, paints, decoupage materials, ribbon and beads. This class is suitable for 12+ with an accompanying adult. Come see where your creative talents take you! Material Fee: $5, payable to instructor Jean Schwab paintings are inspired by the natural surroundings of the Seacoast Area. She paints in mixed media and handcrafts floor cloths in the traditional manner with some modern additions. She is a member of the York Art Association and has taught floor cloth classes at Kittery Adult Education. Her work has been shown at Just Us Chickens in Kittery, Long River Studios in VT, Sarah Orne Jewett House in South Berwick, ME and at the Dover Chamber of Commerce. One of her pieces is part of a collaborative poster on display at several Dover bus shelters as part of the Dover ArtStop program.
