Strut, sparkle, and shine in Drag Boot Camp! Campers will learn artistic and performance skills from local Drag Queens and Drag Kings including character creation, lip-sync techniques, costume & make-up design, movement, and onstage confidence. Students of every gender and identity are invited to learn about the playful and creative world of drag! At the end of the week, they’ll show off their fabulous new skills in a joy-filled performance. Each Skills week at Studio East features different classes. Spend a week taking a deep dive into a specific performing arts skill that range from camera work, to onstage skills, to backstage options. At the end of the week, show off your knowledge with an informal performance, fully-edited video, or portfolio of work.
