Learn correct hand positions, sight reading, scale patterns, arpeggios, chords and fingerstyle techniques such as Travis picking. The course includes classical etudes for technique and song learning from folk, popular and rock styles; students must bring their own guitar, preferably a nylon stringed instrument. BGS 2 - A continued exploration of the literature for classical guitar, advanced song accompaniment styles (Travis Picking), guitar ensembles (in-class performances to be recorded) & advancing improvisation skills.
