BGS 1 is the first class for beginners. This course combines basic music skills: counting rhythms, note recognition, etc., with proper classical guitar technique, song learning (folk, popular and rock styles), pick and fingerpicking styles (Travis Pick) as well as basic blues improvisation. Minimum practice time required for improvement is about 20 minutes 5 times per week. A NYLON stringed guitar is strongly suggested for this course.
