Geering Up holds an All-Girls* week every summer to encourage girls* to discover and explore their love of science and engineering. At Geering Up we run girls* programming because there is still a gender gap in most STEM fields. By creating a girl-focused* space we hope to encourage and inspire the next generation of women* in STEM and help to shrink that gender gap. *We welcome trans, genderqueer, and non-binary folks interested in this camp as we have an inclusive view of the word ‘girl’
