The students are now six weeks into their class and have been making steady progress towards this year’s VEX IQ Challenge - Mix & Match. The Design Studio has been full of buzz and creativity as the students are repeatedly building, testing and refining their robot designs and code. The next time you are onsite please pop into the Design Studio to say 'hi' and I will show you what they have been working on. As part of this class, students have the opportunity to participate in an official VEX IQ Tournament this season. This tournament will give students a chance to put their work into action and experience real competition alongside other schools from across the province and potentially even qualify for a future Provincial (February) or World Championship (April) tournament. I was hoping we could also use the opportunity to visit MakerLabs Vancouver and see the Dundarave Festival of Lights if time and weather permit.
