Description
Join our instructor, Kimberlea Smarr, in a 4-week yoga series this June. Kimberlea believes that healing isn't just physical. It happens when the body feels safe enough to let go. This class is for people who are recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, rebuilding after injury, or navigating a body that is changing. Every practice is offered from a chair or mat — you choose what works for you that day. Each session is guided by breath, gentle spinal movement, and foot awareness — the three pillars of the BeWell Method™, a nervous system regulation protocol developed over 18 years of therapeutic movement teaching and grounded in published neuroscience research. You don't need yoga experience. You don't need to be flexible. You just need to show up. This class is being developed in collaboration with occupational therapy and rehabilitation specialists and will begin collecting participant feedback as part of an ongoing research initiative. Participants should be able to transfer to and from a chair or mat independently. For accessibility questions contact Kimberlea directly via email at: hello@kimberleasmarr.love
