Organized league play will begin early January (the week of January 4th) at Marshall Middle School Gym. When Marshall Middle School Gym is not available, games will be played at Franklin Middle School Gym or Edison Middle School gym. Leagues play on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings (some nights have multiple leagues on a night); with Monday nights being the most competitive league and the nights get less competitive as it gets later in the week (Thursday nights are least competitive with only underhand serving allowed). Please have your team play on the night you fit based on your level of play and not just the night that works for your players to play. This will help keep the leagues fun for all participants. Please note, there are no restrictions on the number of teams a player can be permanently rostered on within our winter co-rec volleyball leagues.
**With the high demand for our women's league, we are able to add a women's only league this winter. We only have 1 court open (court 2) on Monday nights and can only accommodate the first 7 teams. Once the 7 women's only rosters and payment have been collected, we will collect just women's only rosters without payment and put them on a waitlist on a first come, first serve basis. The women's only league will not be based on competitive level since the league will consist of the first 7 team registration forms we receive.**
Fees will be $240.00 for the team fee (includes 10 permanent team players and 6 one-time subs) and a $10.00 player fee for each extra player (over 10). There is no additional charge for non-residents. The deadline for new and returning teams will be Monday, December 7th, 2026. After this date, teams will lose their returning team status and be placed on a first come, first serve basis with the new teams. New teams will be placed in league openings on a first come, first served basis after the deadline, depending on the level of play desired and openings available. A minimum of four teams per league are needed for the league to run, with a maximum of seven teams per league. This is a team registration. Only the manager should register. Roster forms are available at the Recreation office or download to print from our Team Sideline website (www.teamsideline.com/janesville; under the downloads tab) or our City website (www.janesvillewi.gov/recreation; under the Adult Sports and Adult Co-Rec Winter Volleyball Leagues tabs).
This is a team registration. Only team manager should register.
This year we will be using Franklin or Edison Middle School on dates Marshall and Franklin Middle Schools are not available so we can still play games; please let your teammates know.
