Organized league play will begin early January (the week of January 5th) at Marshall Middle School Gym. When Marshall Middle School Gym is not available, games will be played at Franklin Middle School Gym or a TBD gym location. Leagues play on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings (some nights have multiple leagues on a night, but can only have up to 2 leagues on a night); with Monday nights being the most competitive league and the nights get less competitive as it gets later in the week (Thursday nights are least competitive with only underhand serving allowed). Please have your team play on the night you fit based on your level of play and not just the night that works for your players to play. This will help keep the leagues fun for all participants. Please note, there are no restrictions on the number of teams a player can be permanently rostered on within our winter co-rec volleyball leagues.
Fees will be $235.00 for the team fee (includes 10 permanent team players and 6 one-time subs) and a $10.00 player fee for each extra player (over 10). There is no additional charge for non-residents. The deadline for new and returning teams will be Wednesday, December 10th, 2025. After this date, teams will lose their returning team status and be placed on a first come, first serve basis with the new teams. New teams will be placed in league openings on a first come, first served basis after the deadline, depending on the level of play desired and openings available. A minimum of four teams per league are needed for the league to run, with a maximum of seven teams per league. Due to school gym availability, there will only be up to 2 co-rec volleyball leagues on a night unless more gym space becomes available. This is a team registration. Only the manager should register. Roster forms are available at the Recreation office or download to print from our Team Sideline website (www.teamsideline.com/janesville; under the downloads tab) or our City website (www.janesvillewi.gov/recreation; under the Adult Sports and Adult Co-Rec Winter Volleyball Leagues tabs).

This year we will be using Marshall Middle School Gym, and this is the only school that is available for us at the moment. Due to school gym availability, there will only be up to 2 leagues per night with a minimum of 4 teams per league are needed for a league to run, and a maximum of 7 teams per league unless more gym space becomes available. Depending on the number of teams interested per league there may be additional changes put in place to some leagues to accommodate as many teams as possible.
