In this exciting, project-based afterschool program, students will begin the semester with LEGO Robotics and coding. They will design, build, program, and test robotic models while developing foundational engineering and computer science skills. Through hands-on challenges, students will practice coding concepts, troubleshoot their creations, refine their designs, and work collaboratively to solve problems. As the year progresses, students will transition into additional technology-focused curriculum based on their progress and interests. They may explore AI storytelling, Minecraft coding, technology-focused entrepreneurship, and other engaging coding and design projects. Students will gain experience taking ideas from concept to completion while strengthening their creativity, coding confidence, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and independent problem-solving skills. Regular updates will be shared with families through ClassDojo so parents can follow their child’s learning and accomplishments throughout the program.
