About this event
If your child loves Roblox but you’re not sure how you feel about it, this camp was designed with both kids and parents in mind. During this week, students will learn how to create their own video game using Roblox Studio, the same platform real developers use. Instead of just playing, they will design worlds, build game elements, and bring their ideas to life step-by-step with guidance from an instructor. We prioritize a safe, structured experience. Students work in private, instructor-controlled environments with no public servers, no outside players, and no open chat. This camp is perfect for kids who enjoy Minecraft, gaming, or creative technology and are ready to take the next step from player to creator. What Kids Will Do -Design and build their own game world -Create obstacles, challenges, and interactive elements -Learn beginner coding and game logic concepts -Test and improve their own game -Share their creation with the group What Parents Should Know (Safety + Structure) -Private, instructor-controlled environment only --We will help you set parental controls to keep your kids safe! -No public servers or interaction with strangers -No open chat features used -Small group, guided instruction -Focus is on creating, not free play **Please note, there is no camp on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.** Hosted by Kids Can Code Lauren Wade lauren@kidscancodejax.com Please contact the vendor directly for their cancellation policy.
