About this event
Step into a world where simple patterns lead to powerful ideas. In this class, students will explore a famous triangular arrangement of numbers - known across cultures as the Qayam Triangle, Yang Wei’s Triangle or a name that you might know best - and discover why it has fascinated mathematicians for centuries. Using visual models, students will uncover how this triangle is built, what it can tell us, and how it helps solve real problems, like figuring out the number of possible paths from one point to another. Along the way, students will gain practice with concepts like factorials and binomial coefficients, learning that even simple number patterns can unlock big mathematical ideas. Note: This class is designed for students who have completed Algebra 1.
