About this event
Grab your gloves and magnifying glasses! This exciting science adventure transforms the advanced Forensic Biology lab into the ultimate Molecular Detective Agency. Students will use real scientific tools to solve biological mysteries, starting with a classic case: extracting and spooling visible DNA from fruit to understand the blueprint of life. Next, students will learn the technique of micropipetting to load "crime scene" evidence into a DNA gel, observing how scientists use genetic fingerprints to identify suspects. Fingerprinting analysis will be performed with forensic test samples. Finally, using compound microscopes and centrifugation, students will investigate the tiny structures of the cell and see how technology, including simple AI demos, can help investigators quickly identify patterns. This hands-on, high-energy course is perfect for young scientists ready to master lab procedures, practice logical deduction, and explore the cutting edge of Forensics!
