Description

Continue the study of Barely Beginner Spanish II: Continuation and Conversation with communicative exercises and increased thematic vocabulary centered on the body, food, and restaurant protocols.
You will expand your communication skills and practices and learn new things. The class will cover vocabulary and useful phrases of the body, including how to express illness. Another theme will be restaurant and food vocabulary. Students will learn the names of a variety of foods, how to politely speak in a restaurant, and how to order dishes, pay the bill, etc. Dialogues serve as important partner practice throughout. Cultural learnings and grammar lessons are integrated into daily sessions.
If the class agrees, we can add an extra day to visit a local restaurant and practice our knowledge in "real life!"
