Gallery Walk Artist Reception: Reflections: People, Place & Inner Worlds

Make the Historic Post Office Gallery one of your stops during the Iowa City Downtown District Gallery Walk! Join us for a special Artist Reception celebrating Reflections: People, Place & Inner Worlds, our September–October exhibition featuring photography and watercolor by local artists and ICSC students.
Meet featured artists Carol Carlson, Mark Robe, and Jo Myers-Walker, enjoy refreshments, and explore works in the Main Gallery that offer distinctive perspectives on human connection, the natural world, and the everyday moments that inspire us to look again. Then head upstairs to the Upper Gallery, where students from Myers-Walker’s Watercolor Joyous and Free class will be on hand to share their artwork and celebrate their experience as exhibiting artists.
During the reception, Jo Myers-Walker will present a live watercolor demonstration, offering visitors a glimpse into the creative process and the expressive possibilities of watercolor.
Come for the art, meet the artists, and enjoy an evening of creativity and connection in the heart of downtown Iowa City. Everyone is welcome.
