Description

Instructors: Dr. Hani Elkadi, MD, PhD, MA, and Rebecca Mathews
Drawing begins with learning how to truly see. In this engaging 6-week course, students will build a strong foundation in drawing while developing confidence in their creative abilities. Through guided practice in sketching, gesture & figure drawing, still life, composition, perspective, proportion, shading, texture, and light & form, you will learn to translate what you see onto the page.

Whether new to drawing or looking to strengthen existing skills, students will explore a variety of materials & papers while developing greater observation, understanding, and confidence in their own artistic process.

Class Fee: $120 ($90 with ICSC's low-income membership), payable to the instructor.
