(4-Week Series) This four-session course is designed for adults new to oil painting. Over 2.5 hours per class, students will learn the foundations of working with oil paints, including essential materials, color mixing with transparent and opaque colors, glazing, layering, and basic painting techniques. The course focuses on building confidence with the medium while exploring a range of application methods. Along with small studies, students will complete a finished painting in a contemporary Impressionist style and leave with the core skills needed to continue painting independently.
