Description
Join us for a summer adventure day with the United States Adaptive Recreation Center (USARC) in Big Bear.
Activities may include climbing wall, tubing, scenic sky chair, zip line, bungee trampoline, or panning for gems. Not all activities are accessible.
For water activities, all participants must wear a properly fitted Personal Flotation Device [PFD] and must be able to independently turn their face out of the water with a PFD on OR be able to hold their breath for 10 seconds.

Non-disabled family, friends, and aides are welcome to participate fully at the same price and must be registered for the event.
Participants have the option to either transport themselves or catch a ride with DRD as we depart for Big Bear. Transportation must be registered for at the time of initial registration for the program.
A limited number of tickets are available. Deadline for signups will be determined by the date of the event once confirmed!

This opportunity is for individuals with disabilities, participants must have a doctor diagnosed cognitive or physical disability to participate. A Special Needs form must be completed, in addition to the standard waiver, if the participant is using DRD transportation. The paperwork can be downloaded from the DRD website or completed in person at a community center front counter.
