Some machine sewing experience is recommended to take full advantage of class time.

Ready to make clothing that fits your style? In this beginner-friendly sewing course, you'll learn the essential skills needed to make wearable garments from start to finish. Students will gain confidence using a sewing machine while learning how to read commercial patterns, understand fabric selection, take measurements, and assemble garments with professional finishing techniques.

Students will select an easy pattern that will focus on creating a simple clothing piece such as a top, pant, skirt, or dress. By the end of the course, you will complete a garment of your choice and have gained the foundational skills to continue your garment-making journey with confidence.
