Eagle Creek Park has two nature centers open to the public, FREE with park admission. Both buildings are open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm. Closed on Mondays and all City holidays. Follow Eagle Creek Park on Facebook to learn about holiday closures and other closed times.
EARTH DISCOVERY CENTER: 5901 Delong Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46254
The Earth Discovery Center is a great place to visit and enjoy exhibits with live native reptiles, amphibians, fish, plants, and insects. With several trails nearby, stop in the EDC prior to your hike to pick up an activity packet, a tree ID map, or trail recommendations. We also have a beautiful deck with a view of the Eagle Creek Reservoir!

Visit our building to see beautiful exhibits, relax in our wildlife observation areas, and learn about the birds of Eagle Creek Park. The Ornithology Center is also home to several raptor ambassadors: permanently injured, non-releasable birds of prey that help us educate the public about birds and conservation.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
