Have you resolved to be more active and get outside in nature for the new year, but didn't quite make it to a First Day Hike? Have no fear! Even if you slept in on the first day of the new year, you can still join us on the second day for an invigorating tromp on the trails to start the new year off right. We'll be hiking approximately 2.5 miles of moderate trail, with some short hills and stairs. The wind off the reservoir can be brisk in January, so be sure to dress for the weather! Program may be cancelled due to extreme wind or unsafe driving or hiking conditions - call 317-327-7148, email dawn.vandeman@indy.gov, or check the Eagle Creek Park Facebook page for updates. Recommended age 12 and up, free with park admission. This hike will meet at the Earth Discovery Center within Eagle Creek Park, 5901 Delong Rd.
