Discover the captivating process of creating Champleve enamel and learn how to chemically etch designs into copper using ferric chloride. Students will learn how to transfer their own artwork onto copper, etch, then fill the etched areas with transparent and opaque enamels. Throughout the course, students will gain confidence in kiln firing, color layering, stone preparation, finishing techniques, and polishing to create a finished pendant, earrings or a small decorative object.
