Motion of the Ocean | 2026 Audition Registration Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the Texas Southern University Motion of the Ocean Dance Team, The Class Act of the SWAC. All applicants will begin the audition process virtually. Dancers must successfully advance through the virtual round to be considered for invitation-only, in-person finalist auditions. Audition Timeline: • Registration: February 1 – February 22 | You will NOT be able to register after 11:59 pm • Virtual Submission Round One Ends: March 15 | Any video submitted after 11:59 pm will not be selected!! • Finalist Notifications: March 16–20 • In-Person Finalist Auditions: May 2–3 | *SOLO REQUIRED* The sooner you register, the sooner you will receive the choreography and preparation materials. All audition instructions and submission requirements will be sent in your confirmation email once registration is complete. Finalists will be notified by phone.
