The Bioengineering (BioEng) with Prosthetics middle school program engages students in a hands-on Problem Based Learning (PBL) experience centered on the real-world challenge of prosthetic design. Over the course of the week, students will explore how the muscular and skeletal systems work together to support movement, strength, and balance Throughout the program, students will engage in STEM practices including engineering design, scientific modeling, teamwork, and communication. The experience culminates in a Prosthetic Innovation Showcase, where students present their creations and demonstrate how their designs improve user experience and mobility.
