Come dressed in your brightest colors and rainbow gear and enjoy an afternoon of adoptable kitty cuddles, playful pounces, and sweet summer treats. In partnership with Cat Guardians, you’ll have the chance to meet adorable rescue kittens and cats looking for their forever homes.
Celebrate Ice Cream Cake Day with delicious ice cream and cake while you mingle with fellow animal lovers and spend time with some very snuggly special guests.
Whether you’re hoping to adopt, love all things cats, or just want a fun family outing, this is the purrfect way to spend the day.

Cat Guardians, Inc. has served the Lombard community since 1990, helping over 3,700 cats and kittens find loving homes. Many arrive from the streets needing medical care or socialization, and we give them the time and support to heal and thrive. They also offer lifelong sanctuary to cats who are harder to place due to age, health, or behavioral issues. With a dedicated team of volunteers, we prioritize every cat’s well-being and make sure they have a safe, comfortable place to live until they are adopted into their very own home.
