October Presentation: What it was like Then & Now | Cliff Benson
Cliff Benson is a former NFL tight end and Chicago-area native who enjoyed a successful football career at both the collegiate and professional levels. A graduate of Alan B. Shepard High School in Palos Heights, Cliff went on to play football at Purdue University, where he earned All-Big Ten honors.
Selected in the fifth round of the 1984 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons, Cliff played in the National Football League with the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, and New Orleans Saints. During his NFL career, he was a member of the Washington Redskins team that won Super Bowl XXII.
Cliff comes to share his journey of recovery from addiction.
