Building Hope: O’Brien School for the Massai (OBSM) | Led by Kellie O’Brien
Kellie O'Brien and her daughter went to Sanya Station Village in the Kilimanjaro Region of Northern Tanzania, in 2006 to meet with the Maasai Tribe Leaders (made up of all men) and they offered their most valuable possessions, LAND! Before they left, the land was accepted, and a school was to be built! Kellie a Hinsdale resident and a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church will speak about the original school structure, growth, completing the elementary school and the many success stories of students! A free will offering will be taken for supporting school.
