This course invites emerging writers to experiment with poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction while building voice, craft, and confidence! Through engaging mini‑lessons, mentor text study, and lots of writing time, participants will practice building their writing skills in character, setting, plot, dialogue, imagery, and structure. Peer feedback circles and individual teacher critique sessions will guide revisions. Writers will experience shared ideas and supportive collaboration every step of the way. By the end of the week, each student will have a final writing piece that will be included as part of our collaborative literary magazine. Instructor: K. MacDonald
