Hillsborough Recreation is excited to offer a Math Kangaroo Test-Only Program for students in grades 1–5. This option is perfect for families who want their child to participate in the internationally recognized Math Kangaroo competition without joining a weekly prep class.

Parents register through HREC, and we will complete the official Math Kangaroo registration on your behalf. Students will take the exam onsite in a calm, proctored testing environment following national testing guidelines.

Program Includes

• Official Math Kangaroo test registration (handled by HREC)

• Check-in at 1:30 PM

• A 75-minute testing session from 1:45–3:00 PM

• Proctored testing environment

• Access to student results, certificates, and national rankings

Who Can Participate

Students in grades 1–5 during the 2024–2025 school year.

About Math Kangaroo

Math Kangaroo is an international mathematics competition that promotes problem-solving, logical reasoning, and creative thinking. Students compete within their grade level on engaging, age-appropriate multiple-choice problems.
