Students will build on their existing handbuilding skills while learning intermediate techniques such as constructing with coils, creating supportive armatures, adding realistic fur, feathers, or scales through texture, and refining facial features and anatomy. Instruction will also cover proper tool usage, proportion, and techniques for capturing the unique personality and character of each animal. Whether you're sculpting a loyal dog, curious cat, cherished horse, or another beloved pet, you'll receive step-by-step guidance as you create a one-of-a-kind ceramic sculpture.
