Comprehensive 10week hybrid program designed to prove students with the knowledge, technical skills and supervised 40 hour clinical experience needed to perform safe and effective blood collection procedures. The program is aligned with National Healthcareer Association certification standards and prepares students for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam. Students will build a strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system, infection control, safety standards, legal considerations, patient identification, professional communication, specimen handling and quality assurance.. NHA exam fees are not included.
