Description

Virtual children's safety classes are taught over one (holiday) or four sessions (after school program) through Zoom Meeting technology. Classes are led by a live instructor and includes interactive digital media to help learn key messages. Participants will need a device with camera, microphone, as well as high-speed internet connection (laptop, tablet, smart phone).

Course Date: February 13

This program helps families decide if their child is ready for the next steps of independence and arms them with strategies for staying safe when walking home from school and when home alone. Topics include Street Smarts, People Safety, At Home Safety, Online Safety, Fire Safety and First Aid with Accident Prevention. All participants will receive a digital copy of the Home Alone Safety for Kids manual and upon completion of the course will receive a hard copy of the manual along with their certificate by mail.

Course Date: February 13th from 9:30am to 4:00pm
