About this event
Instructor: Marty Epp-Carter Skill Level: Any Level Medium: Art History Total Class Hours: 3 Description: Command/P is how you print something, right? Not if you're a Printmaker. In this informative and interactive class you'll learn the history of fine art printmaking from primitive times to current times and everything in between. No longer will you say: "Oh, it's just a print." Instead, you'll come away knowing if a work on paper is a Fine Art Print, a digital reproduction, a giclee print, a photograph or a poster. You'll start to recognize these various ways of getting an image on paper, and begin to understand the value or price of each. These skills will help you better understand all things print, from the wall text in a museum to the price of an etching in an edition of 10.
