Each week, students journey through a different historical era—from Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome to the reign of Charlemagne, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and the Industrial Age. Discover how cultures communicated and expressed themselves through evolving lettering styles, artistic traditions, and music. Students will be introduced to hieroglyphics, Greek and Roman lettering, uncial, Blackletter, Italic, and pointed pen calligraphy while creating projects inspired by each time period.
