Gray-New Gloucester Adult Education offers learners the opportunity to prepare for the HiSET from home, combining our online platform, HiSET Academy, with scheduled Zoom sessions led by instructors. Learners receive instruction in all five HiSET subject areas — reading, writing, science, social studies, and math. This option is available to students working toward a high school credential and/or preparing for college. To be eligible, students must complete the enrollment process in person and commit to attending weekly Zoom meetings. (Please note: Official HiSET exams are in person only.)
