A community garden is a public space where individuals and families learn how to grow their own vegetables in a caring and supportive manner. Join your neighbours and plan an edible garden on the grounds at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre. No gardening experience necessary. Each plot is $17.70 + HST for the season and consists of 4 x 4 raised bed. A volunteer gardener is available to provide advice and guidance. Plots are prepared with soil, ready to plant and water is available on-site.

Please note, that you can only book up to 2 plots per person until May 1st when an additional plot can be booked. Spaces limited. Should you like to request a specific plot, please email recreation@gravenhurst.ca. You can see which ones are still available here.Otherwise, you will be assigned a plot and notified by emailed.
