Course Description: This 8-hour class covers the 3 most important skills needed to run a pistol under stress, with an emphasis on adequate accuracy on demand, under pressure! This course will include Holster Certification for BBAR. Course Information: Students may use their own approved semi-automatic firearms or rental firearms provided by the range. Closed toe footwear are required. Eye protection and electronic ear protection are also required but can be borrowed at BBAR. Given the danger of contact burns from hot brass low cut tops are not recommended to be worn while on the range. Students are required to bring: - PISTOL (SEMI-AUTO PREFERRED) - MAGAZINE X 5 - AMMUNITION X 400 ROUNDS - GUN BELT - HOLSTER (No Serpa, must cover trigger guard) - MAGAZINE POUCH - DUMP POUCH - EAR PROTECTION - EYE PROTECTION - NOTEBOOK AND PEN - FOOD / WATER (WE WILL BREAK FOR LUNCH) All holsters must meet the following criteria: - Constructed of a rigid material, and designed to accommodate the model of firearm being used - Completely cover trigger guard - Have one form of mechanical retention - May not have finger activated releases (ie: SERPA or FOBUS) - Shoulder, cross draw and appendix holsters are NOT permitted. ​ If students are unsure if their equipment meets the above criteria, or students need to purchase ammunition, please arrive at the range 15 minutes prior to the start of the course for an equipment assessment or purchase. * All Memberships & Courses are non-refundable. Courses are transferable, provided course spot can be filled prior to the course taking place. If initial spot cannot be filled, then tuition for the course will not be refunded. If BBAR chooses to cancel the program a full refund will be issued to any enrolled participants.
