Description

Tap dance is an American art form that is not only entertaining to watch (and hear), but it’s also fun and easy to learn. Tap teaches rhythm, improves balance, and provides a great workout. This class includes warm-ups, basic steps, andtraveling combinations. Tap shoes are required and availablefor purchase through the Park District. This year’s recital will be on May 30th and the theme and time will be announced during the first week of classes. A mandatory dress rehearsal will take place the Friday before the recital.
Costume fee ($75) is included in the registration fee. Dancers will need to supply their own shoes and tights. Registration will be accepted through January 12. There are no costume fee refunds. No Class 2/17, 3/31, & 4/28.
