ADVANCED ROSSBY WAVESThis lesson will build on previous lessons on Rossby wave dynamics with additional details on long versus short Rossby waves, jet stream streaks, vorticity, shear, and their implications for large scale weather patterns around the globe.
Class is instructed by Portland Meteorologist and CCC Faculty member in the Fire Science Dept, John Saltenberger.
