ANABATIC/KATABATIC WIND PATTERNS
This discussion will focus on small scale diurnal wind patterns caused by routine heating and cooling from daytime to nighttime. Emphasis will be placed on local mountain slope and valley winds an sea breezes.
Class is instructed by Portland Meteorologist and CCC Faculty member in the Fire Science Dept, John Saltenberger.
