Where: Girdwood, AK What: This field trip offers overnight hotel accommodation including access to the hotel's swimming pool, a breakfast voucher, and a ski package that includes equipment rental, lesson, and lift ticket. When: Arrive in Girdwood Thursday, Feb. 5th @ 12:30 PM at Alyeska Day Lodge Check in to hotel @4:00pm or later Check-out of Alyeska Hotel Friday, Feb. 6th by 11am Cost: $195 per person Who: Register ALL participants (ages 0+)! Children ages 0-3 will not receive lessons or food vouchers, therefore will not be charged. What to expect after you register: This event is not a first come, first serve event. We have 12 rooms available, with a maximum of 5 people per room. Those who have never attended will have priority. Heather Rains will contact you with a request for additional information and to confirm your registration. FAQ’s: Do I need to participate in the lessons with my students? Yes. This is an educational field trip. Everyone attending, including parents, MUST participate in scheduled lesson provided by Alyeska. Minimum age for group lessons is age 8 for Snowboarding and age 6 for Skiing. What’s included? Package includes a one-night hotel accommodation at Hotel Alyeska (5 people to a room; two adults three students or one adult four students), a ski or snowboard lesson, lift tickets, gear rental, and a $31 food voucher to be used at the Pond Café, Tramway Café, or for Room Service. Can allotment be used for everyone? Up to two parents/guardians can attend with the cost of $195 per person deducted from allotment. Parent/guardians are their children's chaperones and must accompany their children at all times. What if we don’t have enough allotment left to cover the cost? Any balance not covered by allotment will be due and payable through SchoolPay.
