Grow your child’s creativity with three wonderful afternoons of art, adventure, and outdoor discovery! At New Buds Art Camp, kids will dive into their imaginative side through nature-inspired crafts, a scavenger hunt, and collaborative games. Each afternoon is packed with hands-on activities that foster curiosity, celebrate the beauty of the natural world, and encourage young minds to explore, create, and connect.
Budding nature artists will leave with a deeper sense of wonder for nature, fresh ideas for making art with natural materials, and new friendships that inspire teamwork and imagination. Perfect for budding artists and little explorers!
Please bring at least one nut-free snacks and a water bottle. We will spend some time outside, so please send your child prepared for the weather (hat, raincoat, runners, sunscreen). We will be making art, so please have children wear clothing that is okay if it gets messy.
The group is facilitated by Seia Roots, Masters of Counselling Psychology, Art Therapy, and Robin Hansen, recently retired EA. Note this is a kid’s creativity camp, not therapy.
To receive a refund please provide 72 hours notice prior to the start of the program. See https://www.scrd.ca/recreation-policies-guidelines/ for more information on how we handle refunds.
