Description
In this hands-on jewelry making class for adults, you'll learn fundamental techniques including wire wrapping, bead stringing, crimping, and simple metalwork. Over the trimester, you'll create finished pieces such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings using materials like semi-precious stones, glass beads, sterling silver wire, and leather cord. All tools and supplies are provided, and each session builds your skills for designing professional-quality, wearable art. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your craft, you will create a unique jewelry collection. Join us to explore your creativity and make jewelry that expresses your personal style.
You must use clay provided by Darlington Arts Center. You may use previously purchased clay. If you need to purchase clay, you may buy a 25lb block of clay for $40.00 using the optional materials fee.
Projects in sessions 1 & 2 will be different.
If Darlington is forced to close due to PA State Mandate, classes will continue online to ensure the continuity of arts enrichment.
