Mushrooms take center stage in this Thai-inspired cooking class. On the menu are spicy, tangy larb gai with pioppino mushrooms and a Thai chili sauce; crispy snow oyster tempura with ponzu dipping sauce, and snow oyster mushrooms drizzled with shishito pepper oil.

Learn how to transform mushrooms into delicious and satisfying dishes while discovering their nutritional benefits and unique textures. Chef Cat will guide you as you learn how to prepare and enjoy a menu featuring mushrooms.

Come hungry and curious because this class promises a mix of culinary creativity, community, and fun while highlighting the best of locally grown fungi.

All Caps sells their mushrooms on Thursdays at the Casey Community Center Farmers Market and on Saturdays at the Main Street Farmer’s Market in the Kentlands.


For your safety, we ask all students wear close toed, no slip shoes to this class.

No refunds will be granted for Let’s Cook@Casey programs. A one-time registration transfer is available to a Let’s Cook@Casey class of equal value if the exchange request is submitted in writing to LetsCook@gaithersburgmd.gov no less than 48 hours before the scheduled program time.
