Spice up your night with a taste of Ethiopia! Join Chef Tisha for a lively, hands-on cooking adventure where you'll whip up doro wat (a rich chicken stew), fluffy injera (fermented bread), and flavorful azifa (lentil salad). After all the chopping, stirring and sizzling, you'll join the chef and classmates for a delicious meal. Come hungry and ready to have fun.
Tisha is the owner of Versatile Catering, a woman and minority-owned catering company. She blends African, Caribbean and global flavors to create bold, made-from-scratch dishes that honor tradition but with a modern twist.
This is an in-person hands-on class. Participants will work with the chef instructor in our kitchen to prepare the recipes listed in the class description. Everyone will then get to enjoy these recipes together.
